Hey, if this is more than just a little poem, you could be cheesey and 'forget' your pencil, or simply pluck up the courage to ask him out for a drink, alcoholic or not, after the lecture. He'll be astounded by your confidence, and he sure as hell wont forget you. The only reason his reply would come late is because he forgot to close his jaw ;p
